Most Internet browsers support XML. However,
not all browsers have full support for XML, XML Namespaces, and
XSLT.
Internet Explorer 6
Internet Explorer 6 has full XML support, including
Namespaces, Style sheets in CSS, and XSLT 1.0.
The built-in XML Parser 3.0 in Internet Explorer 6.0 and
Windows XP is based on both the W3C XSLT 1.0 and the W3C XPath
1.0 Recommendations.
Internet Explorer 5
Internet Explorer 5 also has XML support, but the XSL part is
NOT compatible with the official W3C XSL Recommendation.
Firefox 1.0.2
The Firefox browser has support for XML and XSLT (and XML +
CSS).
Mozilla 1.7.8
Mozilla includes Expat for XML parsing and has support to
display XML + CSS. Mozilla also has some support for Namespaces.
Mozilla is available with an XSLT implementation.
Opera 8
Opera supports XML and XML + CSS.
Netscape 6
Netscape supports XML.
Internet Explorer 6.0
Internet Explorer 6.0 has full XML support, including support
for Namespaces. Style sheets in CSS and as well as XSLT 1.0 are
supported.

- Viewing of XML documents
- Full support for W3C DTD standards
- XML embedded in HTML as Data Islands
- Binding XML data to HTML elements
- Transforming and displaying XML with XSL
- Displaying XML with CSS
- Access to the XML DOM
Internet Explorer also has support for Behaviors:
- Behaviors is a Microsoft-only technology
- Behaviors can separate scripts from an HTML page.
- Behaviors can store XML data on the client's disk.
